I absolutely love this coat! It’s soft and luxurious. I normally wear a 1X but the 2x will still be comfortable when I’m wearing bulky sweaters or layers underneath this fall and winter. 


The perfect fall coat

Very nicely made, fill lining, reinforced buttons and button holes. Size runs small, I sized up because of reviews over arms running small, glad I did.

Beautiful Cocoon Coat

Love the length of this coat very classy and sharp. I do agree that the arms are snug but for me no problem as I am smaller in the upper body. Will have to wait for winter to see how warm it will be.overall I’m quite pleased with this coat.

Good quality

Rarely am I an "easy fit" with clothing! This beautiful coat was a must try for me because of it's quality.  It's exciting for me to finally have exactly what I wanted at the perfect size for my size! Even my waist is accented! Not too loose,  not tight anywhere! I love this piece!

This is a gorgeous coat, and it’s so warm and comfortable. Also, the camel color is such a classic.  I’ll be using this one for years.

I've been wearing the same coat for years and needed an upgrade.  This coat did not disappoint.  Great fit and super comfortable!

Great Coat

This coat was a recommended pick by the NYT Wirecutter page, so I took a long look at it.  I loved the styling and the size.  I also read a lot of the reviews by other purchasers, and was somewhat concerned about the comments on the sleeve sizing.  I am actually happy with the product.  First of all, it arrived in a jiffy; lately I've been finding that a lot of catalog merch takes a LOOOONG time to arrive after ordering.  The coat was just the right size for me in a 1X.  I am 5'9' and weigh about 240 lbs.  Yes, the sleeves are a little smaller in the upper arms, but I don't find the fit uncomfortable.  I was more concerned about the width across the shoulders so that I don't feel constricted.  Honestly, I think it's a beautiful coat, especially for the price.

I bought this coat for a winter trip to Colorado but I wanted something versatile and this coat does that! I sized up so that I could layer sweatshirts under.  This coat is beautiful, soft, warm (but I don't overheat in it), and very presentable to wear out to dinner or just go catch a movie.  Love my coat.  May buy the camel one too

The coat is well made. Its extremely warm on the coldest days but still not a heavy coat to wear.

Beautiful Coat

Really nice , soft wool. It doesn’t attract lint.  My only complaint is I purchased a 1X to accommodate my hips (Im 5”11” 195lb) and it fits great around my butt and belly but is a little off my shoulders so it doesn’t look sharp. I thought this might allow space for bulky sweaters, but then it felt tight in arms. I do not have big arms proportionally. The coat is nice enough that I considered having the shoulders altered but then the sleeves would be shorter. All in all I decided it was a keeper because I fits better than most coats and I love the style. It is perfect for my needs. 

Love this coat 

This coat fits like a glove and it’s so soft.  It’s surprisingly light so it’s easy to wear.  It’s not bulky and heavy.  I over heat pretty quickly but I have been able to wear this comfortably in stores and outside and in my car without feeling uncomfortable.  This was a big gift to myself and I’m so glad I bought it.

Loved the coat but the arms were not roomy enough. Extremely tapered. I tried 2 different sizes but neither worked.

It's just as soft and warm as the other reviews say, and the cut is very flattering. The only issue is that the sleeves are a little oddly tight on the bicep. Most plus size clothes are sized up from smaller patterns, so it's not unusual to have something not quite right. I got a size a little bigger than usual and unless I'm wearing something bulky, the arms don't bother me too much.

Beautiful coat, sizing is a little weird

I needed to exchange it for the next size up. It ran very small, most especially in the arms. I couldn’t have even driven a car in the coat.  But it was a lovely coat so I’m trying again.

Good quality but…

Wow. Gorgeous coat. So soft, warm and feels fancy. This will keep me so warm but looking stylish and not frumpy. I did size up so I can layer underneath - plenty of room if you decide to get your normal size.

I had read several reviews, indicating that this might be a problem, but I hope for the best. The coat is lovely, the cut is nicely done, and the fabric is wonderful. However, I couldn’t bend my elbows because the interior lining of the coat sleeves is too tight. I’m going to have to return it. I’m not sure whether there’s enough of a difference in the next size up to warrant a re-order. I purchased a 2X.
