Upon trying both a 28 and 29 (I’m a 28 in the Bella Stretch barrel jeans) I decided the 29 fit better. Flatter in the waist/hip area, more extreme barrel shape, full-length. 

Follow up

These barrel pants are full length and a rounded barrel on my petite 5’2” frame but they work! Even though they are rigid they feel comfortable and I think the break in period will be short. The quality feels great, they compare to much more expensive jeans. I purchased a 26 which is true to size for me right now.

These jeans are great! I love the look and always get compliments when I wear them. They are so comfortable and fit true to size so I bought every color! 

Maya Barrel Jeans

These are my first pair of barrel jeans and they are by far my best fitting jean. So flattering and the right length even with being 5'4". I would purchase in any other wash Quince sells.

I LOVE THESE PANTS

Softer than I expected! I expected these to be stiff but they aren’t.  Beautiful color and feel. I sized up one size from the stretch version because my size was sold out and I might still exchange for my usual size if it ever comes back into stock. They sit like the model but are a little long on me. My pair of Bella stretch barrel jeans sits higher on my waist, but again, are one size smaller. Will keep if they don’t restock.

New favorite jeans

I discovered this style by accident and decided to try it. Jeans rarely fit me or feel comfortable enough to wear all day. But these are amazing! The shape is really flattering for me, making my hips and thighs less prominent than many other cuts. The denim is beautiful too—a soft blue rinse, no weird fade lines, sturdy weight but soft. The wider leg makes it easier to work in my painting and sculpture studio, since I get down on the floor a lot when I am making work. I got the 32 since these aren’t the stretch version and cotton denim tends to shrink a bit. If I get the stretch pair, I would go to a 31 (which is what I technically wear).

These jeans are great! They feel soft but hold their shape well. I love the modern barrel style and the black color is beautiful! Definitely recommend these jeans.

Love these jeans!

I was presently surprised at how much I liked the white barrel leg jeans I purchased. I went with the 29 even though I usually take a 28. And for me it was a good decision. They are extremely comfortable and at 5 foot 4. the length is perfect on me.  The legs are wide, but because they hug your hips slightly they don’t look ridiculous. Happy with purchase!

These are perfect. Great denim, no stretch which is what I wanted. The silhouette is very flattering. I got so many compliments! I ended up sizing down two sizes. normally a 27 and ordered that originally but they were way too big in the waist. I sized down to a 25. A 26 probably would have been fine but they were sold out and I wanted to try because I liked them so much. And they fit great!

They fit like a glove

These jeans are not only comfortable, but they are flattering too! I wish the length fit like it does on the model, but for a short girly like me, they almost touch the ground haha! Overall, a great purchase!

Fun fit

Great quality, fit and length.  They are comfortable and TTS. 

I have been slow to embrace the barrel keg trend. Wasn’t sure I could pull it off. But I am happy to say I like these!

Well made denim. Unfortunately, the “barrel” part of the pants is a little too dramatic for my body. I think if I were able to go down a size or two, the proportions might be better.

I am obsessed with these jeans. They are the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever owned.  They’re definitely not too heavy. I read some of the reviews and I thought I might not like that but I wore them and it’s summertime here.

These are not your average style jean. Very trendy. I like the unique cut of them. Depending on your shape, they could be good or not so good.  They work on me. I’ve tried many “Barrel” styles and you just have to keep trying till you find one that works for you. Great price for premium denim.

Great style and sturdy, 100% cotton. Comfortable and very stylish.  They have no stretch so keep that in mind if you're going on a  long trip or doing lots of sitting.  They are a sturdier denim, so no show-through on the white.  Great jeans - will buy more.

Perfect length, leg width, waist!!!

I bought these for my teen daughter who fits better in woman’s sizes then teen/youth sizes. She likes her jeans oversized so she went a size up. She has been looking for barrel jeans for a while but has not liked the fit. She loves the shape and quality of these jeans.

These jeans are so cute! So soft without being clingy. Very comfortable. I love them!

These barrel jeans have a lot of fabric but to my surprise they’re flattering and versatile. I’ve worn them several times a week since getting them! Lots of compliments. I bought them in black and I really love this wash - perfect rigid black denim, 100% cotton unlike other Quince jeans, not too faded. The dye survived their first wash (inside out, cold water, line dry) without fading badly along creases like some Quince denim. (I hope they restock in white so I can get that color too.) Sizing: I got my usual 27 and they’re pretty good, a bit of extra fabric in the belly and hips. My one complaint is that I really wish they came in length options. I have short legs so I had to hem them, and hemming a tapered leg is challenging.
