When I used to work in The City a long time ago, I always had a black tote.  So many women did!  For years I have wanted to get a black leather, elegant tote for when I have to tote things to other people.  I use it for special occasions, or when going to business meetings, as the bottom is smooth leather and I don't want to put it on just any floor.

And, it is so well made.  The inner zipper has a leather pull and it is very strong and lovely.  The inside pockets are useful and I can fit my laptop and its sleeve in the laptop section.  Leather needs a little while to get its final shape, so I store it with lots of tissue paper in the corners.

The elegant black leather tote I have wanted for ages.

As a teacher, I ordered this bag as an upgrade to my school bag. The separate computer compartment, zipped pocket, and two interior pockets keep everything organized. In addition to my computer, I can also comfortably fit my wallet, water bottle, and a textbook if need be. I ordered multiple leather bags from Quince (including the Adeline and Hudson) and found this one to work best for my needs given the overall size, weight, and open (no zipper) top. It is great quality for a reasonable price!

Sturdy and Classic Bag

This is a beautiful bag for the price. It’s a bit larger than expected but I can’t fault the quality. I would recommend as a roomy work tote.

This is a very well-designed piece of luggage. It has great pockets and organizers. It is very well made and designed. Given that Bellroy Tokyo bags cost about the same amount of money and are made from plastic, this leather tote is an INSANE deal.

Evelyn Work Tote

In my opinion, this is a very high-quality bag for the price. I wouldn’t necessarily call it inexpensive, but it’s very well made, and I think the quality fully justifies the price.

I’ve been using it for about a week now. The color is perhaps a little brighter than I expected from the photos, but that’s not a problem at all. It goes really well with summer outfits, especially light-colored clothes and brown shoes.

What I like most is the number of pockets. The inside is nicely finished, with several well-made compartments, as well as one large dedicated pocket for a laptop.

Overall, I think it’s a great basic everyday bag for summer. Maybe I’ll notice something else after using it for a longer time, but so far, after a week, it meets my needs perfectly.
