Perfect 

I purchased the 20” chain and it’s lovely.  Can wear by itself or with a charm and can layer other necklace.  Good price for this piece, gold prices are unbelievable and IMO ridiculous.  Miss the good ole days where anyone could afford gold pieces.  Cherish the ability to keep and hand down one day.

Such a fun piece, will go with so much! You can get the longer chain but attach the clasp shorter if you want.

A Good Buy

This necklace is very well made and sturdy. Good value for money. Perfect if you want to wear it alone. This is my first  purchase from Quince and I was pleased with packaging and shipping. 
 I am considering exchanging it for a box chain as I would prefer a chain to take a special pendant that I already have. I am a little concerned about the exchange process but will call customer service to see how it all works.
 I would definitely recommend this paper clip chain for a substantial stand alone.

It’s very pretty and dainty !  On the other hand you say it’s 14K gold but no where on the necklace does it say that, if you can’t wear it in the pool it makes me wonder if it’s really gold!

This chain is fabulous! The quality and craftsmanship is amazing and the color of the 14k gold is beautiful. The individual paperclip links are strong enough to hold a pendant, but the chain is also beautiful as a  standalone piece. I bought this to replace a mini paperclip gold chain (that I loved) that I gifted to my teenage daughter (along with a sweet little gold necklace charm) for her birthday. I had bought her a different gold chain from somewhere else, but it was so ridiculously thin I was afraid she’d break it in her sleep! I immediately returned it and scoured the web until I found this beautiful chain on Quince. This was my first purchase from Quince, but if all of Quince’s products are of this high quality, it definitely won’t be my last.

I absolutely love this 16-inch 14-karat gold paper clip necklace! The links are nicely thick and substantial, giving it a luxurious feel without being heavy. It has a gorgeous shine that catches the light beautifully, and the 16-inch length is a perfect fit. It’s far more eye-catching and substantial than I expected from the photos. The quality is excellent, and it looks beautiful whether worn alone or layered with other necklaces. I’m so happy with this purchase!

Haven't taken this necklace off since it arrived. Like that you can actually shorten the length by attaching the clasp to one of the links! Shopped around, and this was by far the best value for the quality.

Perfection!

I wanted a thin 20" paperclip chain and found them on my two favorite store sites, Quince and Costco. I could not determine which was likely to be the better deal because their descriptions did not make it possible to compare apples to apples. So, I purchased it from both sites just minutes apart. The Costco purchase showed up at my door 4 days later, the Quince purchase took 6 days to arrive. 
Here is a breakdown of the difference between the two:
- Costco: Price = $459.99, Weight = 2.66 grams ($122.93/gr), length = 20 inch, each link is about 3/16 inch.
- Quince: Price =$428.00, weight = 2.41 grams ($177.59/gr), length = 20+1/8 inch, each link is just shy of 1/8 inch.
(The photo shows 21 because I measured from 1" on the tape to enable more accurate measurement. And I pulled up the Costco chain in the photo around my neck so you could see the details. It is not that much shorter)
I prefer the longer link length of Quince's chain because it is more recognizable as a paperclip chain from a distance, so I have decided to keep the Quince chain even though the cost per gram is slightly higher. I will return the Costco chain. Plus, the Quince clasp is easier to manage and the total outlay for the purchase is less, and I end up with a small fraction longer chain.
The Quince chain is very good value for the money.
