Gorgeous Dress

Sizing is pretty close. I just would have to adjust the straps on the medium. The look is very elegant. Very qualities zipper. the beautiful flow of the dress given the fabric just made it very elegant.

Nice Dress

This was mentioned in another review as well but the zipper shows a visible bump on the side of the dress that cannot be smoothed out. Beautiful colour, great neckline but for the price I can’t ignore the zipper issue. Will be returning

Zipper does not lie flat

The dress came quickly after ordered and was useable right out of the package.  Packing wrinkles quickly disappeared with use.  Looking for the dress in other colors.

A nice garment at a faire price

I decided to go with a L instead of my usual M to ensure the dress hung on me and clinged in just the right areas without it being pulled tight across any areas. The M dresses I had bought before felt a little short for my height for a midi length so I went with this maxi one and I love it. Topping it with the cashmere and silk pashmina for a wedding this summer.

Love the navy color and fabric is so soft. Body flattering fit and not too bare for me.  Classy looking.  Only one negative is that the zipper housing is bulky and sticks out creating an odd protrusion at the side.  Could be improved by using a lighter zipper and trimming the end more closely.

I cannot say enough about this navy satin dress. The color alone is breathtaking — a deep, inky navy that feels rich and intentional rather than basic. It has that liquid sheen that catches the light beautifully without looking shiny or cheap.

The cut is incredibly flattering. The neckline is elegant and feminine without being overexposed, and the way the fabric skims the waist and hips gives it that effortless, elongated silhouette. It moves when you walk — not stiff, not clingy — just fluid and graceful.

What surprised me most is how refined it feels in person. The drape is thoughtful, the proportions are balanced, and it photographs like a dream. With the right underlayer, it looks custom. It’s the kind of dress that makes you stand a little taller.

It feels timeless but modern. Subtle but powerful.

The only negative is the static but it’s silk so that’s to be expected.

Truly a standout piece.

As soon as I saw this dress, I knew I had to have it. The V cut and the way the dress falls is very flattering. I would say this is true to size. I'm 5'3, 120 lbs (bust measurement: 34", waist: 26", hips: 34") and the dress fit nicely and hits right at the ankle.

Stunning, so flattering

My first thought was negative like my arms are to flabby for this dress. Boy was I wrong the v-neck cut and design drew your eyes away from the arms. It is so elegant and glides over the skin.It does have a side zip if needed. I wear a 10 and did not use the zippper. There was plenty of flowing material. Everyone needs one good black dress well here it is just try it on.It’s STUNNING!!!

Seriously Gorgeous!!

This just didn't fit me very well but it's a beautiful colour and nice material. I was expecting it to be a little thicker but I think if it fit me better I would have kept it for sure.

Nice quality but returned

Ordering simple, arrived quickly.  ordered my normal size, great fit, skims the body, not too form fitting. As stated in other reviews, the side zipper is messed up-fabric bulges in that area. Dont need the zipper to get into the dress. Hoping a tailor can remove it. Dress looks just like the picture. Being able to wear a normal bra was a big plus for me.

Dress fits more like a midi dress. I have ordered other maxi dresses from Quince, and they for longer. Dress is cute and fits well otherwise

Shorter than expected

Ordered this dress in red and navy. The red is a beautiful deep rich wine red. The navy is very dark (I thought it was black when I unwrapped it) Others didn’t like the zipper but there is no zipper on this dress. 
For me personally, the material was just too flimsy for my 50+ figure. The thin, silky fabric would be great on a younger figure but not for me. It actually looks like a silk nightgown. 

Wanted to love this dress ! 

I absolutely love the silk fabric and the style but it hangs awkwardly at the hips/upper thighs on me. It's not that it's too big or small (it's my size) it just gathers at the hips/thighs and is very unflattering. It's something specific with the cut of this dress as I've never had this with another garment. It's too bad because it fits great everywhere else, the silk is high quality and a good thickness, and I would definitely keep it otherwise. As others noted, the zipper is unnecessary as I can easily pull this on and off- and it might be the zipper that causes it to hang oddly.

Love the fabric and style but hangs awkwardly

I was looking forward to receiving this dress.  It arrived yesterday, all balled up in a tiny plastic bag, which was then shoved into an equally tiny plastic shipping bag.  Such a terrible treatment and presentation of a $150.00 silk garment.  The dress itself has no structure and would be more correctly categorized as lingerie.  I heard good things about Quince -- I order a lot of clothes and expected so much better from this site.  The dress is on her way back to you, in the tiny plastic bags she came in.  

Such a Disappointment

Was eagerly awaiting delivery of my dress and was disappointed that it arrived smashed up in a tiny plastic bag stuffed into an equally tiny plastic shipping bag. A $150.00 silk dress presented like this.  Really?  The dress is unlined with no structure at all; this is clearly a lingerie piece rather than a dress.  Back she goes.

There was weird bumping around the zipper area. Wanted to love it but it looked horrible, and they didn't have any in my size/color to exchange to see if it was unique to the piece
