Perfect base layer for Iceland!

These base layer bottoms are nice and breathable. They functioned well for an Alaskan winter. They are a little loose on me but that’s likely due to the lack of spandex/other stretchy materials. I prefer the 100% merino wool that this has over a synthetic blend just don’t expect a skin tight fit.

I got these merino wool base layers in size small (5’4”, ~128 lbs, 28” waist) and they fit pretty nucely. Sonce they’re 100% merino wool they are a bit loose. Don’t expect any compression. I like it for the air flow although I think an XS would also fit. I’m disappointed they discountinued this product as I was hoping to get more.

I got these for camping. It was hot during the day and so cold at night. These kept me comfy during the day and warm at night. 

Soft and warm 

Wool leggings??? I was a bit nervous. I love merino wool and I dont usually have an itchy reaction to it but I have never had leggings. What could be closer to your body? They did not itch me at all. I have only worn for a little while but I feel pretty safe in them. They match a cashmere sweater so well too. I bought for a trip this fall.

I originally ordered the Deep Plum Merino leggings in Large as that matched the size chart, but they were way too long and big. So I returned them & ordered the Medium and they fit perfect! I will be wearing these a lot in cold and warm weather.

Soft, snug leggings

Perfect base layer. It's super comfortable and warm for how thin it is. It does a great job wicking away sweat and looks great with the matching top.

Nice

I'm trying to add more natural fibers to my wardrobe and I love that these are 100% merino and the price is unbeatable. I'm going to try the matching crew or 1/4 zip. The quality is comparable to SmartWool. I've worn these for an entire week -- I didn't bring enough options and the trip wound up being colder than expected -- no smell AT ALL. They're super breathable. 

Two things to note:
#1 They run short. They're 100% merino so not very stretchy. I'm 5'3" and I pull the ankle mid shin so I don't have to adjust them when I sit. If you're taller, these might not work for you. 
#2 The only sign of wear I'm seeing is along the seams (see photo). It's like the stitching is pilling..? I'm not sure how else to describe it. These are a good basic/under piece -- I wouldn't necessarily wear these out so other people would see them. 

25" waist, 39" butt/hip and I got XS. I would not size up since the waist would be too large for me.

Please offer more colors! And please offer a 100% merino wool scoop neck tee or a scoop neck version of your long sleeve crew.

I love my new leggings!  They are comfy for being wool.

Really nice quality. I purchased these to layer under pants as our winters have been super cold lately. I purchased two sizes extra small and small and they both fit. I will keep both for different purposes.

Merino Wool Leggings

So soft, so comfortable, they fit nicely under jeans. No more polyester for me. Typically an XL (16) but I specifically wanted to wear them under pants in the winter, so I bought the L in dark gray. Also bought the matching 3/4 zip top in XL gray. If they had more warm-toned options I would’ve bought those, too!
