Got this to replace a rechargeable one that looks the same from Williams-Sonoma, which wouldn't hold a charge.  This is so much more powerful that that ever was!  I still have my rechargeable pepper mill, but will be upgrading to this one's mate because it is so much better!

Love this salt mill

This is exactly like the WS brand version. It works great, though it could grind the salt finer. Doesn't really matter though because I wanted the peppermill which never came back in so went to but a second salt mill to use for pepper, joined waitlist but then received an email saying it is permanently discontinued. Very unfortunate.

Love it, but discontinued!

Bought this as a just-because gift for my husband. WE love this salt grinder. It’s pretty, high quality, easy to fill, and is overall satisfying to use.

The grinder is powerful and well-balanced. I like that it doesn’t tip over as easily as others. Picked up two on sale and am delighted with the purchase. 

Great grinder

This grinder was disappointing. It was very hard to close it after inserting the batteries. I couldn't reopen battery case that I am returning with batteries. 

Not what I expected 

I read the reviews about the mill not going back together once it is taken apart to add batteries but I thought that was probably “operator error”.  It’s not,  these are truly defective.  Quince seems to be good about taking them back.  But I recommend saving yourself the grief and just don’t buy it.
