Battery operated black pepper grinder

I'll be honest, with the number of way more expensive electric grinders out there I assumed this one would be a "good enough for now" sort of product. But it has gotten heavy daily use since Christmas (no salt here, so we use a LOT of pepper) - and it's been wonderful in every way. The kind of tiny life improvement that just works and doesn't require any extra thought or effort and just makes you a little bit happier every time you use it.

 There is an acrylic window, but the grinding parts don't seem to be plastic, which was another concern of ours as we scoured other options so want to mention that as well.

All in all could not be more satisfied. Recommend this product for sure!

Surprisingly Great

I wish i had bought one of these 10 years ago. I cook one handed a lot because I'm always holding a baby and these one-button grinders are game changers for the flow of cooking.

Made my cooking easier!

I’m a Quince fan and have purchased from a variety of categories. Although I haven’t kept everything, I’ve always found products to be of the highest quality: materials, craftsmanship, design, etc. This Peppermill is the first time I’ve been disappointed.It’s as elegant looking as can be but the lettering on top of it was half rubbed off when I opened it up. Although not a huge problem, my expectations are very high for Quince products. This wasn’t my favorite purchase. I did keep it though. After the holidays I’m overloaded with returning products from other companies and am too lazy to return it.

Looks nice. Grinds well. Quiet. Wish it held more peppercorns.

I always loved products from Quince but this electric mill was disappointing. It was so tight to reassemble that I could not close it properly to operate the mill. I couldn't disassemble either after I inserted 6 AAA batteries, so I am retiring with my batteries. 

Not top quality 

Had to return this because it is too weak and holds very little peppercorns, and even asks you to only fill it 75% to optimize performance.  Even with 50% full it kept stopping mid-grind
