So I never saw the bowl that was delivered. I have not heard from the recipients. Kids these days...

I bought this as a gift

Such great quality and beautiful. I love all things East Fork and this is no exception. It’s a very large bowl, definitely check the measurements when ordering as I probably could have gotten away with the “popcorn” size bowl instead for what I am needing.

About 10 years ago I discovered  East Fork Pottery and fell in love. My husband and I have traveled to Asheville several times and always stop in to  purchase pieces to add to our collection. We also shop on line and have bought during the seconds sales. My original pieces were in Soapstone and now I have added Heron to the mix. Like a lot of people, I started making sourdough bread during Covid  (5 years ago.)  it has become  a daily ritual, a time of being in the monument.   We recently purchased  the large mixing bowl  which has become my sourdough  go to bowl. It has heightened by bread baking experience.  I love the size and weight of the bowl and the Heron is beautiful!

This is a lovely bowl. I actually bought it for a dual purpose. I have a small nook that needed something that is beautiful and functional. I’m keeping fruit in it at the moment.

I chose this bowl to replace an old, large salad bowl of mine that was starting to crack.  I absolutely love it!!  I use it almost nightly to make a large salad for my family and will be using it to serve pasta to a big crowd.  I haven&#x27;t used it for mixing yet, but I know I will.  I got it in eggshell and it&#x27;s just gorgeous!  Everything looks great in this bowl!

I was thrilled to see that my niece who was born and raises in the Southwest US chose East Fork egg shell  Shallow place settings on her bridal registry.    Being able to purchase gifts made in the Southeast for her made a nice connection  which was particularly meaningful as both of her grandparents passed away recently.  The mixing bowls were &quot; from Nana&quot; who shared a love of baking with the bride and the weekday and popcorn bowls from   &quot;Pop pop&quot;.    She loved the glaze combinations of Morel and Blue Ridge in the serving pieces combined with the eggshell place settings.  Amazing customer service and fast shipping!

i’ve been waiting to snag this to complete the set. glad i finally did. it’s the perfect size for large salads, leavening bread and anything else you can think of. i love that it’s multifunctional as both a beautiful serving bowl or a durable mixing bowl. don’t snooze. it’s worth the investment. plus, i enjoy being in the kitchen so much more when my dishes are as esthetically pleasing as EF!

When I dream about a perfect mixing bowl this is it.  It’s sturdy and shaped perfectly for scraping batter off the sides and blends in wonderfully with my cottage kitchen decor .  This gorgeous bowl will elevate all of my baking photos.

This bowl is hefty and beautiful. Who knew you could love a mixing bowl. It is a generous size with a perfect weight. I wish I could have multiple colors ( I predict that I will over time). Its only the price that keeps me from ordering another one right away.

Can you love a mixing bowl? Yes!

This bowl lives on my counter looking pretty, and I grab it every time I want to whip up a dough or batter. When it’s not completing my countertop still-life it’s the perfect vessel for mixing muffin batter, biscuit dough, and future naan.  Its sturdy, high-sided design is great for mixing without spilling. It’s definitely a kitchen must-have!
